| The Peninsula in Long Beach |
|
|
For decades the Peninsula neighborhood in Long Beach consisted of mostly small, traditional shingled beach cottages and homes at the far east end of Ocean Blvd. And there are still some old cottages remaining on this narrow spit of land that faces the ocean on one side and Alamitos Bay and Naples Island on the other side. Homes facing the ocean have a view of Catalina Island, some 26 miles away and instant access to the beach that is relatively little used by the public.
